Save money by registering early
- PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) urges you to save money with early bird registration for the 2017 Minnesota Organic Conference. Register on or before December 30, 2016 to save up to $25 per person.This year’s conference will be held Thursday, January 12 and Friday, January 13, 2017 at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud. Cuban organic farmer Fernando Funes-Monzote and researcher Donald Wyse are this year’s keynote speakers.
The Minnesota Organic Conference offers more than 30 educational sessions and workshops for farmers of all experience levels. It also boasts a trade show, and opportunities for networking with industry leaders and organic producers throughout the Midwest.
“We’re thrilled with the variety of topics we’re able to offer in this year’s breakout sessions,” said conference organizer Cassie Dahl. “There’s tremendous diversity in Minnesota’s organic sector and the 2017 conference offers learning opportunities for all kinds of growers and producers.”
Attendees will also have a chance to grow their networks during the conference’s Thursday evening reception and social hour, sponsored by the Minnesota Farmers Union.
