The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) will be hosting a series of agriculture-focused listening sessions. The sessions will take place shortly before the town hall meetings in six locations: Rochester, Mankato, Marshall, Crookston, St. Cloud, and Bemidji. (See details below.)
MDA will give a brief overview of a few programs, including the Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification (MAWRC) Program, the Nitrogen Fertilizer Rule, the Agricultural Growth, Research, and Innovation (AGRI) grant program, and the Rural Finance Authority followed by a Q&A and dialogue with the audience.
