Tour includes MDA Potato Inspection Facility in East Grand Forks
St. Paul, MN: Members of the media are invited to join Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen and Assistant Commissioners Whitney Place and Patrice Bailey on Monday, July 15, 2019, as they make several visits to locations in Northwestern Minnesota, including the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) Potato Inspection Facility in East Grand Forks.
“One of the goals of the Walz Administration is for the agency commissioners to frequently travel the state,” said Commissioner Petersen. “We’re looking forward to these tours and the opportunity to hear from growers and business owners in the region.”

- 12:30 p.m.: Far North Spirits Tour, 2045 220th Avenue, Hallock MN 56728
- 1:45 p.m.: CHS Canola Processing Plant Tour, 2100 U.S. Highway 75, Kennedy MN 56733
- 4 – 6 p.m.: Habstritt Seed Company/Magnusson Research Farm, 41535 340th Street, Roseau MN 56751 (Meet at the seed company location and the group will travel to the research farm)
