If you started evaluating your wheat crop to access the havoc FHB may have caused, you will encounter partially or completely bleached wheat heads.  Not all bleached heads are the result of an FHB infection.

Preharvest management of small grains

There are two methods of pre-harvest management that can speed up the small grain harvest: Swathing or applying glyphosate. Because modern varieties allow for it, most wheat and barley is now straight-cut instead of swathed.
