Summary
HRW harvest is nearly complete and the latest samples helped improve test weight,1000 kernel weight and slightly increased protein. Initial tests of HRS samples showed average protein content of 14.7%, test weight average of 60.6 lb/bu (79.7 kg/hl) and falling number of 375. Both HRS and northern durum harvest remain behind normal. SW weighted averages indicate slightly higher protein of 10.1% (12% moisture basis) compared to 10.0% last week and slightly lower moisture content of 9.7%.
