Note: Pre-proposals are different from a full proposal, in that the pre-proposal does not require being processed through university/organization sponsored programs, or granting/budgeting. If a full proposal is requested of the project after a presentation has been made to the Research Committee, then the normal channels for a proposal must be gone through.

MN Wheat Research Committee reviews pre-proposals and prioritizes them, then calls for full proposals from top ranking pre-proposals.

Researchers notified to submit full proposal.

Research Committee reviews full proposals and recommends funding to MN Wheat Council Board (date to be determined).

MN Wheat Council acts on committee recommendations at their board meeting (date to be determined).
